Minecraft is a game in which you use building blocks to construct the world around you. The game begins on a deserted island. You then utilize the blocks to construct a shed or a house or a palace.
The blocks don't just appear to you though, you must spend some time in gathering them and digging them up.

The game can be played in both Creative and Survival modes. Survival isn't free of dangers. There are monsters as well as lava, explosions, and Cacti. If you encounter a bad situation, any of these will deplete your health bar. Also, you have a hunger bar therefore you must find food sources to keep it at a good level.
If you'd rather get on building your kingdom you can play the game in the Creative mode. You can freely roam the Minecraft world and won't be restricted by hostile creatures.
Pros: Minecraft allows you to create whatever you want. If the Survival mode is not enough for you then you can play in the Creative Mode.
